Senior Fullstack Software Engineer

Help revolutionise the way we understand and monitor our world from space.

We are seeking driven and adventurous software developers to assist in the development of our Earth imaging platform.

This platform helps organisations to catalogue, index, and manage their earth observation data, as well as assisting their teams to share, discover & utilise that data. Where that data is insufficient, best in class procurement tools assist in acquiring new data from anywhere around the world.

By helping to better utilise this type of data and make it more accessible, Arlula helps to address real world challenges in areas such as climate change and food security by allowing people to better understand changes to our planet as seen from space.

We offer an opportunity for the right candidate to demonstrate their technical expertise, collaboration skills and problem solving abilities by working in our multidisciplinary team to address some of the most persistent, complex and challenging issues in the Earth observation and satellite imaging industry. Working on systems addressing problems of image processing, calibration, validation, indexation, discovery, distribution, analysis and visualisation of datasets.

The right candidate should be a proactive self starter who can demonstrate their problem solving, planning and technical skills in a collaborative setting. They should be comfortable working with statically typed programming languages both server side and client side; comfortable working with server side rendering and configuration driven application domains, and eager to grow their knowledge of both software development and the Earth Observation sector and its various applications and stakeholders.
