Arlula and NTT DATA Partner to Support Japanese Government Satellite Mission
[Sydney, 25/11/24] – Arlula is thrilled to announce a strategic partnership with NTT DATA aimed at transforming satellite mission operations and enhancing Earth Observation capabilities for global stakeholders. This collaboration will harness the expertise of both companies to optimise satellite constellation performance, delivering innovation across the Earth Observation value chain.
The partnership will see the integration of Arlula’s cutting-edge Geostack platform, which will allow stakeholders across the Japanese Government to task satellites in orbit to capture imagery and provide easy access to their growing archive of geospatial intelligence data. These advancements will enable the more efficient use of constellation assets including Tip & Cue systems, accelerate decision-making and drive improved outcomes for the Japanese Government. By enhancing tasking capabilities, the partnership will facilitate faster, more accurate data collection, processing, and actionable insights for end users.
Central to this collaboration is Arlula’s Geostack platform, which simplifies satellite tasking and data management for operators. Geostack’s scalable, cloud-based infrastructure automates complex backend processes, allowing satellite operators to focus on mission success without the technical burden. The modular architecture ensures seamless integration with other systems, enabling satellite constellations to reach their full potential in terms of efficiency, flexibility and data delivery.
“By partnering with NTT DATA, our technology will be used to accelerate access to Earth Observation data, equipping operators to meet evolving demands with greater precision and agility,” said Sebastian Chaoui, CEO of Arlula. “Our partnership with NTT DATA will set new benchmarks for satellite tasking and resource optimization.”
“We anticipate that the collaboration between NTT DATA and Arlula will bring unprecedented value to satellite imagery tasking in the highly demanding public sector, where accuracy and large volumes of data are essential,” said Masatsugu Yamaguchi, Head of Mobility and Resilience,NTT DATA.
This partnership between Arlula and NTT DATA is set to significantly enhance the flexibility and operational efficiency of current and future satellite missions, positioning both companies at the forefront of the rapidly evolving space technology landscape for government.
